Simasti is a SaaS platform designed for large-scale messaging and communication. Businesses and organizations use it to run messaging campaigns, deliver service notifications, and distribute important operational updates related to their products and services.

Business Needs

By the time our work started, Simasti had been in active use for many years, with established workflows and a product teams relied on daily. Over time, it became clear that several core areas of the platform needed to move forward together, including delivery visibility, key user flows, interface behavior, and the technical foundation supporting them.

The goal was not to rethink the product from scratch, but to carefully advance these areas in a coordinated way, so the platform could continue evolving while remaining familiar and reliable in everyday use.

Our Approach

Over five months, we worked on Simasti as a live product, delivering coordinated updates across the interface, core functionality, integrations, and internal systems as part of a structured product improvement process.

  • Real-time visibility into SMS delivery and the sending process.
  • SMS campaigns triggered by events or time delays.
  • Voice messages and file sending alongside standard SMS.
  • A redesigned web interface with a clearer campaign setup flow and message preview.
  • Improvements to the platform APIs’ + security improvements at the system level.
  • Simplified core system logic, built on React and Node.js.
  • Integration with the Zoho ecosystem to connect Simasti with other business tools.
  • Groundwork for adding AI automation solutions later.

Result

Simasti now provides teams with better visibility into message delivery and the sending process, along with more flexible campaign logic based on events and time rules. Interface updates supported clearer campaign creation and more confident day-to-day work with messages.

At the platform level, internal logic, APIs, and security were updated, and Simasti was integrated with the Zoho ecosystem to work more naturally alongside other business tools. The product was also prepared for the next stage of development, with AI-driven automation features planned ahead. More details will be shared later.
