Third-party logistics services are crucial for entrepreneurs starting out in the retail or e-commerce industry, as well as for enterprises seeking a fulfillment partner capable of handling over 10,000 orders. The retail sector continues to set new records, and various opportunities become available for new businesses aiming to connect logistics service providers with traders. 3PL Fulfilment decided to become a new player in this space and create a platform that connects e-commerce and B2B executives with fulfillment providers.

Solution
When it comes to technical solutions, we implemented a modular microservices architecture, enabling each service (e.g., inventory management, shipment tracking, reporting and analytics) to operate independently. We leveraged Kubernetes for container orchestration, used API management tools to handle integrations, and implemented real-time data synchronization with the help of webhooks. Node.js + MySQL (TypeORM) + Docker for back-end and React + Redux for front. Our design team focused on user experience by optimizing elements and pathways for potential platform users on both ends. Additionally, we developed and implemented distinct functionality and designs specifically tailored for enterprise retail businesses.

3PL Fulfilment is now a fully operational platform that can help modern e-commerce businesses and retailers find logistics providers in less than 10 minutes. The platform allows users to set specific requirements and use the advancements of AI solutions to guarantee a perfect match even for retailers with unique product storage requirements.
